The Region 2 Planning Commission actively seeks to incorporate the involvement of the public in its planning efforts. The goal of the Public Participation Plan (PPP) is to provide a director for the public participation activities undertaken by JACTS as it pertains to the MPO’s development of the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and the Urban Planning Work Program (PWP). The current participation plan was adopted as part of the 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan in June 2018.
