National Association of Home Builders Approves Expansion of HBA of Jackson to Include Lenawee County (06/23/25)
The Home Builders Association of Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee is proud to announce that its jurisdiction now officially includes Lenawee County. The expansion was approved by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Board of Directors at its Spring Leadership Meeting on June 13, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
“This milestone represents more than just a geographic change. It reflects the growing need for connection, advocacy, and resources for residential builders and tradespeople throughout our region,” said Patrick O’Dowd, Executive Officer of the association. “We are excited to officially welcome Lenawee County into our service area and look forward to supporting even more professionals who are building the communities we call home.”
Founded in 1955, the Home Builders Association now serves three counties with a focus on providing meaningful relationships, business opportunities, industry advocacy, and practical resources to its members. The organization supports residential builders, contractors, skilled tradespeople, suppliers, and service providers through education, networking, and regional representation.
The expansion allows the HBA to better serve the residential construction and trades industry across southern Michigan and strengthen its mission to promote professionalism and growth within the industry.
The association is headquartered at 1815 E. High Street, Jackson, MI 49203. For more information or to inquire about membership in Jackson, Hillsdale, or Lenawee County, visit www.hbajmi.com or call 517.783.4800.
