What is a Planning Work Program?
A Planning Work Program (PWP), also known as a Unified Work Program (UWP), is a financial budgetary document that outlines the expenditures R2PC anticipates to incur. The UWP also outlines the activities and job duties it expects to complete. Spanning a period of one year, the UWP is updated in conjunction with a variety of outside organizations and the public annually. R2PC completes two different PWPs each year, one for JACTS which covers urban transportation planning in Jackson County, and one for regional transportation planning which covers all three R2PC counties.
