The JACKSON TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM (JTSP), under the guidance of the Jackson County Board of Commissioners, is pleased to announce the solicitation of traffic safety-related grant applications for 2018 (June 1, 2018 – December 31, 2018).  Grant applications need to address one or more of the traffic safety-related priorities established by the JTSP Board of Commissioners.  The 2018 grant application form and a list of the priorities can be found at Jackson Traffic Safety Program Webpage or by calling 517/788-4426.
Because of declining revenue, grant requests will be reviewed against the priorities set for the program.  All grant requests require a local matching contribution – 15% for enforcement agencies and 35% for non-enforcement agencies. Higher matching funds may allow more projects to be funded.

The deadline for submitting a JTSP grant application is 5 PM, FRIDAY, MARCH 30, 2018.
